The short version
Reel Matchup reviews and compares online casinos licensed by the Gambling Commission. That single sentence is the whole product. We are not a casino, we hold no gambling licence, we run no games, we never hold a penny of anyone's money, and no operator listed here owns any share of this site. When you play, you play with the operator; when something goes wrong with an account, the operator — and if needed the regulator — is who resolves it.
The site is paid for by affiliate commissions: follow one of our links, open an account, and the operator pays us a fee. You pay nothing extra either way. The mechanics of keeping that money away from the scores are spelled out on the methodology page and the affiliate disclosure.
Why only six casinos?
Because comparison quality falls off a cliff past the point where you've genuinely used every product on the list. Six operators means six accounts we actually open, six support teams we actually contact, six mobile apps or sites running on real hardware. A directory of eighty casinos can only be assembled by copying other directories — and Britain has enough of those already.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- UKGC licence or no listing. There is no second tier for "interesting but unlicensed" — such a tier would be a recommendation to break the law.
- Low scores stay published. An operator that rates poorly remains on the page, rating showing. Removing weak scorers quietly is how comparison sites rot.
- No money-handling advice. Deposits, withdrawals and payment methods are out of scope, permanently. We compare products; we don't guide anyone's cash.
- Plain flags on paid links. Operator links are marked as sponsored, and offer mentions carry the 18+ and T&Cs note every time.
- Entertainment framing only. Nothing on this site will ever describe gambling as income, investment or strategy. It costs money and sometimes returns some — that's the honest arithmetic.
Corrections
Operators redesign lobbies, change owners and rewrite offers without asking us first. If you spot something outdated or plainly wrong, the contact page reaches the person who can fix it — corrections beat compliments, genuinely.
